State Police Arrest Frankford Man Following Probation & Parole Search

The Delaware State Police have arrested 20-year-old Malachi Mahon of Frankford, Delaware, for felony drug and gun charges following a Probation and Parole search yesterday in Frankford.

On November 10, 2025, at approximately 8:30 p.m., the Sussex County Governor’s Task Force was requested by Probation & Parole after they conducted an administrative search at probationer Malachi Mahon’s residence on Frankford Avenue in Frankford. During the search of the residence, probation officers found drugs, drug paraphernalia, and a handgun. Mahon was detained without incident. A child was in the residence as the time.

A search of the residence and Mahon, led to the discovery of the following items:

  • Approximately 6.44 grams of crack-cocaine
  • Approximately 50.43 grams of marijuana
  • Glock 9mm handgun

Mahon was arrested and taken to Troop 4, where he was charged with the crimes listed below, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 11, and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $36,601 cash bond.

State Police Arrest Millsboro Pair Following Probation & Parole Search

The Delaware State Police have arrested 34-year-old Amanda Seward, and 40-year-old Brian Truitt, both of Millsboro, Delaware, for felony drug and related charges following a Probation and Parole search yesterday in Millsboro.

On October 30, 2025, at approximately 3:45 p.m., the Sussex County Governor’s Task Force was requested by Probation & Parole after they conducted an administrative search at probationer Amanda Seward’s residence on the 28000 block of Godwin Street in Millsboro. During the search of the residence, probation officers found drugs, drug paraphernalia, and suspected drug money. Seward and Truitt were detained without incident.

A search of the residence, along with Seward and Truitt, led to the discovery of the following items:

  • Approximately 23.77 grams of methamphetamines
  • 3 acetaminophen and hydrocodone bitartrate pills
  • 3 fentanyl test strips, 3 xylazine drug test kits, and 1 medetomidine test strip
  • Digital scales
  • Drug paraphernalia
  • $621.00 in suspected drug proceeds

Seward was arrested and taken to Troop 4, where she was charged with the crimes listed below, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 3, and released on a $27,800 unsecured bond. Seward was committed to Sussex Correctional Institution for probation violations.

State Police Arrest Selbyville Man for Multiple Drug Offenses After Vehicle Pursuit

Delaware State Police have arrested 27-year-old Jaquan Johnson of Selbyville, Delaware, for multiple felony drug charges following a pursuit and search warrant.

On October 1, 2025, at approximately 7:00 p.m., members of the Sussex County Governor’s Task Force and Sussex County Drug Unit were conducting a drug investigation of Jaquan Johnson for the distribution of illegal narcotics at a property on the 34000 block of Bennett Road in Selbyville. During the investigation, detectives saw a white Ford Transit van, driven by Johnson, arrive, then leave the residence and travel southbound on Bennett Road near Roxana Road in Selbyville. A computer check showed that Johnson was wanted for arrest in Maryland and that he, and the van, were recently involved in a pursuit with police in Worcester County. Detectives pulled the van over on Bethany Road and spoke to Johnson. When he was told to exit the van, he refused and sped away.

During the pursuit, the van drove in a reckless manner and at a high rate of speed on several area streets and roads. Detectives successfully deployed stop sticks, but the van failed to stop and later collided with a Chevrolet Equinox at Lighthouse Road and South Main Street in Selbyville. After the collision, the van continued to flee, coming to a stop on Main Street in Frankford. Detectives saw Johnson throw a potato chip bag when he ran from the van, and he was ultimately taken into custody after a taser deployment. Detectives recovered the potato chip bag and found that it contained approximately 60.07 grams of cocaine, approximately 10.89 grams of crack cocaine, along with 85 bars and 33 partial bars of Xanax. During a search of the van, detectives found drug paraphernalia.

The driver of the Equinox involved in the collision was not injured.

After the pursuit, detectives obtained and executed a search warrant at the Bennett Road property. During the search warrant, detectives found the following items:

  • Unused wax paper bags
  • Inkpad and stamp
  • Small rubber bands
  • Cutting agents
  • Digital scales
  • Blender jar with cocaine residue
  • Pyrex dishes
  • Clear Ziploc style baggies
  • 20 rounds of .223 caliber ammunition

Johnson was arrested and taken to Troop 4, where he was charged with the crimes listed below, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 7, and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $127,617 secured bond.

State Police Arrest Two Men for Gun and Drug Charges Following Pursuit in Bridgeville

Delaware State Police have arrested 28-year-old Tracey Johnson of Harrington, Delaware, and 26-year-old Joseph Davis of Georgetown, Delaware, for gun and drug offenses following a pursuit in Bridgeville.

On July 30, 2025, at approximately 3:05 p.m., members of the Sussex County Governor’s Task Force saw a black Dodge Charger with a registration violation traveling northbound on Coverdale Road near Seashore Highway. Detectives initiated a traffic stop on the Dodge, which was occupied by a black male driver, and a black male passenger. The Dodge failed to stop and sped away on Seashore Highway. Due to the Dodge traveling in a reckless manner, the pursuit was discontinued for the safety of other motorists. In the ensuing investigation, members of the Kent County Governor’s Task Force responded to the registered owner of the Dodge’s residence on Genesis Lane in Harrington. When detectives arrived, they saw two men, identified as the driver Tracey Johnson, and passenger Joseph Davis, attempting to cover the Dodge with a tarp. As detectives made contact with them, they saw Davis place an item under a landscaping trailer. Johnson and Davis were detained without incident. During a search of Davis, detectives found approximately 1.95 grams of heroin. During a search of Johnson, detectives found the key for the Dodge. Subsequently, detectives conducted a search of the Dodge, and the area under the landscaping trailer, which led to the discovery of the following items:

  • Loaded 9mm handgun with an extended magazine
  • Sawed off .12-gauge shotgun
  • Several rounds of .12-gauge ammunition
  • AR-15 upper receiver
  • AR-15 magazine
  • Several rounds of 5.56 caliber ammunition
  • Several rounds of .38 caliber ammunition
  • Approximately 27.67 grams of acetaminophen
  • Approximately 10.70 grams of a combination xylazine/acetaminophen mixture
  • Digital scales

Johnson and Davis were arrested, and taken to Troop 3, where they were each charged with multiple crimes.


Johnson, who is a person prohibited from possessing a firearm or ammunition, was charged with the crimes listed below, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2, and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on an $89,500 cash bond.

Search Warrant in Millsboro Leads to Arrests for Gun and Drug Offenses

Delaware State Police have arrested 29-year-old Jessica Beebe, of Finksburg, Maryland, and 38-year-old Clyde Garrison of Millsboro, Delaware, for felony gun and drug charges following a search warrant at a Millsboro residence.

On July 15, 2025, members of the Sussex County Governor’s Task Force and Sussex County Drug Unit, executed a search warrant at a residence on the 27000 block of Trinity Road in Millsboro. The search warrant was obtained following an investigation of Clyde Garrison and Jessica Beebe for distribution of illegal narcotics from the residence. Before executing the search warrant, detectives saw a gray Subaru Crosstrek, driven by Beebe, leave the residence and fail to signal at John J. Williams Highway and Indian Mission Road. Detectives pulled the Subaru over and Beebe was detained after a drug K-9 alerted to the presence of narcotics. During a search of the Subaru, detectives found approximately 3.10 grams of methamphetamine.

A search of the residence, and a greenhouse on the property, led to the discovery of the following items:

  • Approximately 268.90 grams of methamphetamine
  • 10 marijuana plants
  • .22 caliber handgun
  • Assorted caliber ammunition
  • Digital scales
  • Drug paraphernalia

Two Men Arrested for Felony Drug Charges Near Millsboro

Delaware State Police have arrested 52-year-old Jerome Johnson of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware and 42-year-old Troy Sanders of Bridgeville for felony drug and related charges near Millsboro.

On March 6, 2025, at approximately 9:43 p.m., members of the Sussex County Governor’s Task Force were on patrol and saw a red Ford Mustang traveling eastbound on John J. Williams Highway near Bay Farm Road. Detectives observed the Mustang fail to signal properly when turning southbound onto Bay Farm Road and attempted to pull it over. The Mustang pulled into a driveway on the 26000 block of Bay Farm Road, sped through the yard, and struck a tree. After striking the tree the driver, identified as Jerome Johnson, and the passenger, identified as Troy Sanders, both fled but were quickly taken into custody. A computer check showed that Johnson had active capias warrants and a revoked driver’s license. A subsequent search of Johnson, Sanders, the crash scene, and the Mustang, led to the discovery of the following items:

  • Approximately 3.87 grams of heroin
  • Approximately 11.97 grams of crack cocaine

Johnson was taken to Troop 4, where he was charged with the crimes listed below, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 7, and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $35,501 cash bond.

Search Warrant in Seaford Leads to Arrest for Gun and Drug Offenses

Delaware State Police have arrested 37-year-old William Nieberg, Seaford, Delaware, for felony gun and drug charges following a search warrant at a Seaford residence last week.

On February 6, 2025, members of the Sussex County Drug Unit and Sussex County Governor’s Task Force, executed a search warrant at a house on the 10000 block of Pit Road in Seaford. The search warrant was obtained following an investigation of Nieberg for the manufacturing and distribution of illegal narcotics from the property. Before executing the search warrant, detectives saw a Hummer H3, driven by Nieberg, leave the residence. Detectives pulled the Hummer over and Nieberg was detained.

A search of the property led to the discovery of the following items:

  • 9mm handgun with no serial number and ammunition
  • Approximately 3,821.55 grams of marijuana
  • Digital scale
  • Equipment used for growing marijuana

Nieberg was arrested and taken to Troop 4, where he was charged with the crimes listed below, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 7, and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $153,100 cash bond.

Governor’s Task Force Detectives Arrest Man for Gun Charges Following Traffic Stop in New Castle

The Delaware State Police arrested 21-year-old Stephan White of Wilmington, Delaware, for felony gun charges following a traffic stop that occurred in New Castle on Tuesday night.

On January 28, 2025, at approximately 10:20 p.m., members of the New Castle County Governor’s Task Force were patrolling the area of New Castle Avenue when they observed a white Volkswagen Jetta with a fictitious temporary tag traveling southbound on New Castle Avenue. Detectives conducted a traffic stop on the Jetta, and made contact with the driver. The driver did not have identification in his possession, and provided detectives fictitious registration paperwork for the Jetta. He was subsequently taken into custody without incident, and was positively identified as Stephan White. A computer inquiry revealed White’s driver’s license was suspended, and the Jetta was unregistered and uninsured.

Before towing the Jetta, detectives conducted an inventory search of the car, which led to the discovery of a loaded handgun concealed under the driver’s seat. A computer inquiry of the handgun’s serial number revealed it was reported as stolen within the jurisdiction of the Newark Police Department in March 2023.

An additional computer inquiry revealed White is a convicted felon and is prohibited from possessing firearms and ammunition. White was taken to Troop 2, where he was charged with the crimes listed below, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 11, and committed to Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on a $23,500 cash bond.

Governor’s Task Force Arrests Seaford Man for Gun and Drug Charges Following Traffic Stop in Seaford

The Delaware State Police have arrested 19-year-old Asjmeir Fiorentino of Seaford, Delaware, for gun and drug charges following a traffic stop that occurred in Seaford.

On January 15, 2025, at approximately 12:31 p.m., members of the Sussex County Governor’s Task Force were patrolling Concord Road near Tranquill Boulevard when they saw a Ford Edge traveling westbound on Concord Road with a registration violation. Detectives pulled the Edge over and spoke with the driver, identified as Asjmeir Fiorentino, During the traffic stop, detectives learned Fiorentino did not have a valid driver’s license. Additionally, detectives smelled an odor of burnt marijuana coming from the vehicle and saw a marijuana cigar on a can in the center cupholder. Fiortentino was ultimately taken into custody, and a subsequent search of his person and the Edge led to the discovery of the following items:

  • Polymer 9mm handgun
  • Extended round magazine
  • Multiple rounds of 9mm ammunition
  • Approximately 1.62 grams of crack cocaine
  • Approximately 1.66 grams of marijuana
  • Drug paraphernalia

Governor’s Task Force Arrests Two Men for Gun and Drug Charges Following Traffic Stop in Wilmington

The Delaware State Police arrested 27-year-old John Hernandez of New Castle, Delaware, and 32-year-old Shakair Miller of Wilmington, Delaware, for gun and drug charges following a traffic stop that occurred in Wilmington on Monday night.

On January 13, 2025, at approximately 7:00 p.m., members of the New Castle County Governor’s Task Force were patrolling the area of South Market Street in Wilmington when they observed a Jeep Grand Cherokee with multiple equipment violations. Detectives conducted a traffic stop on the Jeep, and made contact with the driver, identified as John Hernandez. A computer inquiry of Hernandez revealed he did not have a valid driver’s license. Detectives also made contact with the passenger, who initially provided a fictitious name and date of birth, but was later positively identified as Shakair Miller. A computer inquiry of Miller revealed he had a capias for his arrest issued by the New Castle County Superior Court. Hernandez and Miller were subsequently taken into custody without incident.

During the traffic stop, detectives conducted a search of Hernandez, Miller, and the Jeep, which led to the discovery of the following items:

  • A loaded Ruger handgun, which was concealed in a jacket found in the rear passenger seat
  • A variety of bags containing approximately 42.4 grams of crack cocaine
  • 41 baggies containing approximately 1.23 grams of heroin
  • Various paraphernalia to include a digital scale, and distribution/packaging materials

Hernandez and Miller were taken to Troop 2, where they were each charged with multiple crimes.


Hernandez was charged with the crimes listed below, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2, and committed to Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on a $142,320 cash bond.
