Lewes- Delaware State Police are seeking the public’s assistance with identifying an individual who is wanted in connection to a convenience store robbery that occurred on November 14, 2020.
Detectives continue to investigate a convenience store robbery that occurred on November 14, 2020, at the Uncle Willie’s BP Station located at 17580 Coastal Highway, Lewes, for a robbery. The investigation determined the suspect entered the business at approximately 9:09 p.m. and waited inside the store until there were no other customers inside. He then approached the store counter, gave the clerk a plastic bag, and demanded money be put into it as he displayed a handgun. The cashier complied, and the suspect fled the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was injured during the incident.
The suspect is described as a male, approximately 6’2″- 6’5″, thin build, wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt and pants.
