*UPDATE Victims Names Released* Delaware State Police Conducting Death Investigation Following Boating Accident- Bear

Bear- Delaware State Police are releasing the names of the victims who died during a boating accident on Thursday, October 15,2020, at Lums Pond located at 3125 Red Lion Road, Bear, as 63-year-old Clyde Knotts of Newark and  65-year-old Fernando Simoes of Bear.

DNREC Fish and Wildlife Natural Resources Police continue investigating the boating accident.

Delaware State Police continue investigating the death investigation. Anyone with information regarding the incident should contact Delaware State Police Cpl/D. Patterson at Delaware State Police Troop 2 by calling 302-834-2620 or emailing David.Patterson@delaware.gov. Information may also be provided by calling Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333 or via the internet at http://www.delaware.crimestoppersweb.com .
