Milford– Delaware State Police are releasing the name of the individual that was found deceased on North Shore Drive, Milford, on August 4, 2020.

The investigation began at approximately 11:45 a.m. when Troopers responded to North Shore Drive for a missing person report. Upon arrival, Troopers learned 73-year-old Gloria Babel of Milford, DE could not be located by a family member, and there was a concern for her safety because the storm Isaias was still active outside.

A search of the surrounding area revealed a large branch had broken off a tree onto Gloria, and she was located deceased underneath.

An autopsy will be performed by the Division of Forensic Science to determine the manner and cause of death.
