Milford – On Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at approximately 11:45 a.m., Troopers responded to North Shore Drive, Milford, in reference to a deceased adult female.

The investigation is in the early stages however no foul play is suspected and believed to be storm related. The victim was outside assessing storm damage and was struck with a tree branch that fell from a tree.

The victim will be turned over to the Delaware Division of Forensic Science where an autopsy will be performed to determine the cause and manner of death.

Further details will be released as they become available and if necessitated.
