Troopers Attempt to Identify Burglary Suspect- Wilmington

Wilmington- The Delaware State Police are attempting to identify the suspect involved in a burglary, which occurred at Plaza Liquors located at 1600 West Newport Pike, Wilmington.

On June 1, 2020, at approximately 1:40 a.m., an unknown suspect used a rock to shatter the front glass window of the business then gained entry. Once inside, the suspect removed property before fleeing through the front door and traveling northbound towards DE 4.

The suspect is a thin light-skinned black or Hispanic male wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt and dark-colored pants (possibly blue), white socks, and red sneakers. The suspect is wearing an orange mask and had a pink and black colored (2 shoulder strap) backpack.
