Troopers Attempting to Identify Domino’s Pizza Burglary Suspect

Newark – The Delaware State Police are investigating a pair of burglaries at Newark area Domino’s Pizza locations and are asking for the public’s help in identifying one of the suspects.

The first burglary occurred between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. on Tuesday December 31, 2019 at the Domino’s located at 12 Polly Drummond Hill Rd., Polly Drummond Shopping Center in Newark. In this incident three suspects made forcible entry to the business through the rear door and then successfully accessed a safe, making off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

During the overnight hours of Sunday, January 5th into Monday, January 6th a second burglary occurred at the Domino’s located at 20 Salem Village Square in Newark. In this incident forcible entry was again made through the rear door of the business, however no cash or other property was taken.

Through various investigative measures detectives were able to determine that the incidents are linked and that at least three suspects are involved. Two of the suspects can only be described as wearing all dark clothing, to include a cloth concealing their faces. One of the suspects, who is pictured in the attached surveillance images from the Polly Drummond location, has a tattoo on his left hand. No other images are available at this time.
