Delmar– The Delaware State Police have arrested the suspect who was wanted for burglary and theft of motor vehicle charges.

On Tuesday, November 27, 2018, 43-year-old Ronald T. Hastings of Laurel was located in the 36000 block of Bi State Boulevard, Delmar and taken into custody without incident.

Hastings was transported back to Troop 4 where he was charged with the following:

  • Burglary Second Degree
  • Burglary Third Degree
  • Theft of a Motor Vehicle (2 counts)
  • Theft (Felony) (2 counts)
  • Attempted to Commit Theft of a Motor Vehicle
  • Theft By False Pretense (2 counts)
  • Falsifying Business Records (2 counts)
  • Selling Stolen Property (2 counts)
  • Criminal Mischief (2 counts)
  • Leave, Deposit or Dispose of Trash
  • Criminal Trespass Third Degree (2 counts)

Hastings was arraigned before the Justice of the Peace Court 2 and released on $29,350.00 unsecured bond.
