New Castle – The Delaware State Police are currently on the scene of a serious motor vehicle crash involving multiple vehicles that occurred at approximately 9:49 p.m, Monday, May 4, 2020, at the intersection of South DuPont Hwy. and Hamburg Rd., New Castle.

As a result of the crash, South DuPont Hwy. is closed in both directions. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek alternate routes of travel.
