Wilmington – The Delaware State Police are investigating a robbery that took place at a Kirkwood Hwy., PNC Bank branch Wednesday morning, and are asking for assistance in identifying the suspect.
The incident occurred at approximately 11:17 a.m., Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at the PNC Bank, located at 4725 Kirkwood Hwy., Wilmington. The pictured suspect approached a teller and provided a note advising of a robbery. The suspect then verbally demanded money while implying that he was in possession of a weapon. The teller complied with the demand by turning over an undisclosed amount of money to the suspect who then fled on foot. The teller was not injured as a result of the incident.
The suspect was described as a black male, 30-35 years of age, 6’00” tall, average build, full beard, wearing a brown jacket, denim pants and a brimmed hat.
