New Castle (19720)- The Delaware State Police have arrested a suspect in connection with filing a false report.

Koshaunna Mack, 28-year-old of Newark reported an incident to the police on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at approximately 6:38 p.m. Mack stated that she was at the Shell Gas Station, located at 299 Christiana Road, where she had just finished fueling her vehicle up at the gas pumps.  She indicated that as she proceeded to retrieve her wallet off the trunk of her vehicle where she had placed it, a subject was simultaneously reaching for it.  Mack stated that she was able to grab her wallet and enter her vehicle, locking the doors.  Mack reported that the subject then approached the drivers side door, displayed a handgun, and began banging on the window.
