State Police Arrest Dover Man for Felony Drug Offenses

The Delaware State Police arrested 42-year-old Christopher Naylor, of Dover, Delaware, for felony drug charges in Dover.

On March 2, 2026, at approximately 2:20 p.m., members of the Kent County Governor’s Task Force responded to the 800 block of Artis Drive in Dover to locate Christpher Naylor, who had a capias warrant for failure to appear in New Castle County Court of Common Pleas. When detectives arrived, they saw Naylor exiting a tent in the backyard of the property. He was taken into custody without incident. While taking him into custody, detectives saw drugs and drug paraphernalia in plain view in the tent.

During a search of the tent, detectives found the following items:

  • Approximately 10.13 grams of methamphetamines
  • Digital scale
  • Drug paraphernalia

Naylor was taken to Troop 3, where he was charged with the crimes listed below, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 11, and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $15,001 secured bond.

  • Possession of a Controlled Substance, Tier 2 (Felony)
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
