State Police Detectives Investigating Armed Robbery in Laurel

The Delaware State Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred yesterday at Hardee’s in Laurel.

On May 12, 2025, at approximately 3:01 p.m., troopers responded to a report of an armed robbery at Hardee’s, located at 30759 Sussex Highway in Laurel. The investigation revealed that an unknown black male suspect entered the drive through, displayed a gun at the employee, and demanded money from the register. The employee complied, and the suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. The employee was not hurt.

The suspect is described as an unknown black male, operating a dark colored Honda passenger car displaying Maryland registration 6DA1892 with damage to the driver’s side front.

Delaware State Police Troop 4 Criminal Investigations Unit continues to investigate this incident. Detectives are asking anyone who witnessed this incident or has relevant information to contact Detective K. Perry at (302) 752-3793.
