The Delaware State Police arrested 26-year-old Unique Priestley of Newark, Delaware, for an armed robbery that occurred in January at the Four Seasons Tobacco Outlet in Newark.
On January 25, 2025, at approximately 10:35 a.m., troopers responded to a report of an armed robbery at Four Seasons Tobacco Outlet, located at 638 Plaza Drive in Newark. The preliminary investigation revealed that an unknown black male suspect entered the business, jumped the counter, and threatened an employee with a knife while removing tobacco products. Before fleeing the scene, the suspect punched the employee, who was not injured.
Through investigative means, Troop 2 Criminal Investigations Detectives identified Unique Priestly as the suspect responsible for the robbery, and obtained a warrant for his arrest. On March 4, 2025, Priestley was located by detectives, and taken into custody without incident.
Priestley was taken to Troop 2, where he was charged with the crime listed below, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2, and committed to Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on a $35,000 cash bond.
