State Police Detectives Investigating Shooting in Lincoln

The Delaware State Police are investigating a shooting that occurred in Lincoln Friday night.
On February 28, 2025, at approximately 9:45 p.m., troopers responded to the 9000 block of Bunting Avenue in Lincoln for a report of shots fired. The preliminary investigation revealed that an unknown suspect fired an unknown number of shots from a light-colored vehicle. Two vehicles were hit by gunfire, one of which was occupied by two people. No one was hurt during the incident.
Delaware State Police Troop 4 Criminal Investigations Unit continues to investigate this incident. Detectives are asking anyone who witnessed or has information regarding this case to contact Detective M. Skidmore by calling 302-752-3796.
