State Police Investigating Shots Fired in Laurel

Delaware State Police are investigating a shooting that occurred late Saturday night in Laurel, Delaware. No one was injured during the incident.

On August 19, 2023, at approximately 11:00 p.m., troopers were dispatched to the 14000 block of Shiloh Church Road after reports of gunshots. When troopers arrived, they discovered that a car parked in the driveway of the house had been hit twice. The home was occupied by four adults and a child. The suspect description is unknown at this time.

Troop 4 Criminal Investigations Unit is currently investigating the incident. They are requesting anyone who has information about this case to contact Detective K. Perry by calling 302-752-3800. Information may also be provided by sending a private Facebook message to the Delaware State Police or contacting Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-847-3333.
