The Delaware State Police arrested 37-year-old Tiffany Morales, from Wilmington, Delaware, on felony firearm and related offenses after she fired multiple shots at a victim early Sunday morning outside a New Castle sports bar.

On October 4, 2026, at approximately 1:30 a.m., troopers responded to the area outside a sports bar in the 3800 block of North Dupont Highway, New Castle, for a report of shots fired. Responding troopers located spent shell casings near the building, and the victims identified Morales as the shooter. Troopers located Morales and took her into custody without incident.

The Delaware State Police Criminal Investigations Unit took over the case. The preliminary investigation revealed that Morales had dropped her purse while involved in a physical altercation with an unrelated individual. The victims picked up the purse and returned it to Morales, who then accused them of stealing it.

Afterwards, Morales went to her car, retrieved a handgun, and pointed it at one of the victims before firing multiple shots. During the investigation, detectives located evidence of the crime in Morales’ vehicle. No injuries or property damage were reported.

Morales was taken to a local hospital for unrelated, non-life-threatening injuries. She was charged with the below listed offenses, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace Court, and committed to the Department of Correction on a $23,000 cash bond.
