The Delaware State Police arrested 25-year-old Tzair Bryant, of Claymont, Delaware, and is seeking a second suspect after two customer vehicles were stolen during a burglary at an auto repair shop in Wilmington last week.

On September 26, 2026, at approximately 12:00 a.m., troopers responded to Penny Hill Service and Repair Center, located at 517 Philadelphia Pike in Wilmington, for a report of a burglary in progress. Upon arrival, troopers discovered a garage door with broken glass and searched the business. Troopers determined the suspects had already fled the area.

The preliminary investigation revealed that a male and female suspect forced entry into the business and stole keys belonging to customers who had left their vehicles at the shop for service. The suspects then used the stolen keys to take two customer vehicles from the business. The Delaware State Police Criminal Investigations Unit took over the case.

On September 30, 2026, the Wilmington Police Department received information that one of the stolen vehicles was in the area of East 8th Street near North Buttonwood Street. Officers responded, located the vehicle, and took Bryant into custody. Bryant was found in possession of the vehicle’s keys, and Wilmington Police subsequently contacted Delaware State Police detectives.

Detectives responded and determined Bryant was the male suspect from the burglary.

Bryant was taken to Troop 1 where he was charged with the below listed offenses, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace Court, and committed to the Department of Correction on a $3,100 secured bond.
