State Police Investigating WSFS Bank Robbery in Rehoboth Beach

The Delaware State Police is investigating a bank robbery Saturday morning in Rehoboth Beach.
On August 29, 2026, at approximately 9:50 a.m., troopers responded to the WSFS Bank, located at 19335 Coastal Highway in Rehoboth Beach, for a reported robbery. The preliminary investigation revealed the unknown suspect entered the bank and gave the employee a demand note. The employee complied and the suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. No weapon was involved and no injury was reported.
The suspect is described as a thin black male in his twenties who was dressed like a female while wearing tight clothing and a wig.
The Delaware State Police Troop 4 Criminal Investigations Unit continues to investigate this incident. Detectives are asking anyone who has any information in regard to the incident to contact Detective L. Coleman at (302) 752-3813.
