*Update – Suspect Arrested* State Police Investigating Homicide in Milton; Asking for the Public’s Help Locating Suspect

The Delaware State Police have arrested 62-year-old Myron Savage, from Milton, Delaware, for murder following a homicide that occurred yesterday in Milton.
On April 11, 2026, at approximately 5:30 p.m., troopers responded to the 20000 block of Forest Road in Milton for a report of a shooting. When troopers arrived, they found a 47-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds, and he was pronounced dead at the scene. Detectives identified Myron Savage as the suspect and obtained a warrant for his arrest.
On April 12, 2026, Savage was arrested without incident in Harrington and taken to Troop 3. He was charged with the crimes listed below, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 3, and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $1,060,000 cash bond.
- Murder 1st Degree (Felony)
- Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony (Felony)
The Delaware State Police Homicide Unit continues to investigate this incident. Detectives are asking anyone with information regarding this case to contact Detective A.
