The Delaware State Police arrested 58-year-old Robert Morrison and 35-year-old Cori Morrison, both from Marcus Hook, Pennsylvania, on felony firearm charges following a shots fired investigation Tuesday evening in Claymont.

On March 31, 2026, at approximately 6:30 p.m., troopers responded to the Claymont Transit Center, located at 191 Transit Center Drive, for a report of shots fired. Responding troopers stopped a Kia Soul as it was leaving a service road near the train tracks. Troopers identified the driver as Robert Morrison and the passenger as Cori Morrison, and learned they were target shooting near the Delaware River.

Troopers searched the Kia and found two loaded handguns that were concealed, along with ammunition. Further investigation revealed Robert has a prior felony conviction and is prohibited from possessing firearms. Both were arrested without incident and taken to Troop 1.

Robert was charged with the below listed offenses, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 3, and released on his own recognizance.
