Delaware State Police has arrested 48-year-old Danielle Marshall, from Tampa, Florida, in connection with an identity theft investigation that occurred Friday in Bear.
On November, 28, 2025, at approximately 11:00 a.m., troopers responded to the Citizens Bank, located at 146 Fox Hunt Drive, in Bear, for a reported fraud in progress. When troopers arrived, bank staff said that a women attempted to use a fake New Jersey driver’s license and a bank card belonging to an account holder to change the account holder’s information. The fake driver’s license had the woman’s photograph but with the account holder’s legitimate personal information. Bank staff said they were notified of the woman’s description after she attempted the same thing at another area Citizens Bank earlier in the day, but she was unsuccessful.
Bank staff provided troopers a description of the woman, who was in the process of leaving the area. Troopers located and arrested the woman, who was identified as Danielle Marshall.
Marshall was taken to Troop 2 where she was charged with Identity Theft (Felony), arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 11, and committed to the Baylor Women’s Correctional Institution on a $10,000.00 secured bond.
