Delaware State Police have arrested 41-year-old Tyrell Clark and a 16-year-old female, both of Dover, Delaware, for multiple felony offenses following a drive-by shooting in Rodney Village that occurred in May.
On May 3, 2025, at approximately 4:51 a.m., troopers responded to a residence on the 300 block of Samuel Paynter Drive for a report of shots fired. The preliminary investigation revealed that a vehicle pulled up in front of the home and fired multiple gunshots before fleeing the area. No injuries were reported.
Through investigative means, detectives identified Tyrell Clark and the 16-year-old female as suspects involved in the shooting and obtained warrants for their arrest.
On June 27, 2025, Clark, who is a person prohibited from possessing a firearm or ammunition, was arrested, and taken to Troop 3, where he was charged with the crimes listed below, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 3, and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on an $83,000 cash bond.

On July 16, 2025, the 16-year-old turned herself in at Troop 3. She was charged with the crimes listed below, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2, and released to a parent/guardian on her own recognizance.
