The Delaware State Police are searching for a suspect in a robbery that occurred yesterday morning in Magnolia.
On April 19, 2024, at approximately 9:05 a.m., troopers responded to a house on Gray’s Lane in Magnolia for a robbery. The preliminary investigation revealed that a man went into a woman’s house, began arguing with her and forcefully stole her property. During the robbery, the man took her phone and threw it, she was not able to call 911. The suspect left the house on foot in an unknown direction. Troopers searched the area but did not find him.
Through investigative means, troopers have identified 35-year-old George Brinkley as the suspect. He is a black male, approximately 6’02” tall, weighing approximately 240 pounds, brown eyes and black hair. He was last seen wearing a white North Face hooded sweatshirt, and blue pants.
The Delaware State Police Troop 3 are searching for Brinkley. Troopers are asking anyone with information regarding Brinkley’s whereabouts to contact Troop 3 by calling 302-697-4454 or by dialing 911. Information may also be provided by sending a private Facebook message to the Delaware State Police or contacting Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-847-3333.
