Delaware State Police Seek Public’s Assistance in Death Investigation

Delaware State Police are investigating the death of 43-year-old Daniel W. Devol-Neidig of Dover, Delaware.

On October 9th, 2023, at approximately 1:30 p.m., employees at Recycling Management Resources, located at 100 Amer Road in Wilmington, found Daniel W. Devol-Neidig dead in a processing area. The Delaware State Police is currently investigating his death and is seeking the public’s assistance in gathering information. The cause of death is unknown currently, and the autopsy results are pending. Devol-Neidig was last seen on Monday, October 2, when he was released from Sussex Correctional Institution in Georgetown.

Detectives have been pursuing leads since the onset of this investigation, and as it continues, detectives are asking for the public’s assistance. If you have information about Mr. Devol-Neidig’s whereabouts or activities before the discovery of his body, please contact Detective J.
