Crime Stoppers Offers Reward for Homicide Investigation Tips

The Delaware State Police Homicide Unit continues to investigate the murder of 33-year-old Dioandre “Onnie” Gibbs of Lincoln, Delaware, which occurred in Frankford in May 2021.

On May 18, 2021, at approximately 3:35 p.m., the Frankford Police Department and troopers responded to Honolulu Road and Kauffman Lane for a shooting. Officers arrived and found a gray 2012 Volkswagen CC that had crashed into the front of a house on Honolulu Road. The driver, identified as Dioandre Gibbs, had been shot nearby and crashed his car as he attempted to drive away. Gibbs was taken to an area hospital and pronounced dead.

This case remains an active investigation, and a $12,000 reward is being offered by Delaware Crime Stoppers for information leading to an arrest. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
