Rehoboth Beach, DE- Delaware State Police are investigating a burglary to the Sunglass Hut located in the Midway Tanger Outlets.

On November 28, 2021, at approximately 10:00 a.m., troopers were dispatched to the Sunglass Hut located at 34986 Midway Outlet Drive for a burglary. The investigation determined during the overnight hours, the unknown suspect forced entry into the business. Once inside, the suspect removed most of the store’s inventory of sunglasses and an undisclosed amount of cash from the register before fleeing. 

The suspect is described as a male wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, baseball hat, dark-colored face covering, and dark-colored gloves. The suspect was possibly traveling in a Chrysler Town and Country minivan with another unknown male subject. There are no video surveillance images available. 

This incident is being investigated by the Delaware State Police Troop 4 Criminal Investigations Unit.
