Delaware State Police Investigating Shooting Incident- Blades

Blades, DE- Delaware State Police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred Friday night in Blades.

On October 29, 2021, at approximately 10:40 p.m., troopers were dispatched to a home on South Market Street for a report of shots fired. The investigation determined multiple shots were fired in close proximity to the residence and two bullet holes were located in the side of the front porch awning. A search of the area was conducted and several shell casings were located on the ground by troopers. During the incident, a 36-year-old male was in the residence and was uninjured.

There is currently no suspect information available.

This investigation is in the early stages and the investigation is being conducted by the Delaware State Police Troop 4 Criminal Investigation Unit.
