Dewey Beach, DE- Delaware State Police is issuing a traffic advisory for Coastal Highway (SR 1) south of Dewey Beach. Due to water on the roadway, northbound and southbound Coastal Highway is currently closed from south of Dewey Beach to south of the Charles W. Cullen Bridge (Indian River Inlet Bridge). The roadway is expected to be closed for an extended period of time. Flooding could occur again tomorrow evening, so motorists should plan accordingly.
