Harrington, DE- Delaware State Police have identified the individual who died during a fatal motor vehicle collision on October 3, 2021, as Angela M. Stafford, 34, of Dover.

On Sunday, at approximately 12:40 p.m., Stafford was operating a 2008 Ford Ranger southbound on Whiteleysburg Road north of Brownsville Road, approaching a right curve. Stafford started to lose control of the Ranger as the right-side tires traveled off the west edge of the roadway. The truck traveled back onto the roadway, crossed over into the northbound lane, and overturned as it traveled off the east edge of the roadway before coming to rest.

Stafford was not wearing a seatbelt, sustained fatal injuries, and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

This crash remains under investigation by the Delaware State Police Troop 3 Collision Reconstruction Unit.
