Milford, DE- Delaware State Police arrested Edris E. Correa, 34, of Milford, on multiple felony criminal charges Wednesday night.
On August 4, 2021, at approximately 8:29 p.m., troopers attempted to contact Correa in the area of Allen Way, Milford. Correa had an active warrant out of Sussex County Superior Court. As troopers attempted to contact Correa as he exited his vehicle, he fled on foot and refused to obey several commands to stop. After a brief foot pursuit, Correa emerged from an apartment and was taken into custody. Located in Correa’s vehicle were the following items:
A computer search conducted on Correa revealed he was a person prohibited from possessing a firearm. Correa was transported to Delaware State Police Troop 3, and charged with the following crimes:
Correa was arraigned in the Justice of the Peace Court #7 and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $52,251.00 cash bond.
