Delaware State Police Investigating Shots Fired Incident- Wilmington

Wilmington- Delaware State Police are investigating a shots fired incident which took place Wednesday afternoon.

On June 6, 2021, at approximately 12:57 p.m., troopers responded to the parking lot of the Amazon fulfillment center located at 1025 Boxwood Road, Wilmington, for a report of shots fired. The investigation determined a light-colored SUV pulled into the parking lot and opened fire. No one was injured during the incident.

Troopers discovered two shell casings at the scene.

There is no suspect description at this time.

The investigation is in it’s early stages, anyone with information regarding this incident should contact Detective Strecker with Delaware State Police Troop 2 Criminal Investigative Unit by calling 302-365-8413.
