Troopers Seeking Public’s Assistance Locating Dover Man for Weapon Charges- Townsend

Townsend- Delaware State Police is requesting the public’s assistance with locating 29-year-old Andrew Parsons of Dover, who is wanted on weapon and related charges.

On December 18, 2020, at approximately 1723 hours, Delaware State Police responded to Union Church Road for an incident involving a gun. The investigation determined Parsons engaged in a verbal argument with a 46-year-old male at the residence. As the male began walking away from the argument, Parsons fired a single round into the ground several feet from the subject. Parsons then fled the scene.

As a result of this incident, Parsons is wanted for the following charges:

  • Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony (Felony)
  • Possession of a Firearm Within ten years of Prior Conviction (Felony)
  • Reckless Endangering 1st Degree (Felony)

Attempts to locate Parsons have resulted in negative results. He is believed to be staying at the residents of acquaintances or sleeping in his blue Chevrolet pickup truck (picture included) with Delaware registration. Anyone who comes in contact with Parsons should use extreme caution because he is believed to be armed and dangerous.
