Wilmington – Delaware State Police are on the scene of a fatal motor vehicle crash involving a bicyclist that occurred at approximately 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 29, 2020, on Bellevue Parkway in the area of Philadelphia Pike.

As a result of the crash, southbound Philadelphia Pike is closed from Silverside Road to Bellevue Parkway. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek alternate routes of travel. The road closure is anticipated to be lengthy, with no estimated time for a re-opening.
