Newark- The Delaware State Police are currently on scene of a crash involving a tractor trailer and an occupied Delaware State Police patrol vehicle that occurred at approximately 3:16 a.m., on July 21, 2020.

As a result of this crash and ongoing investigation, I-95 southbound in the area of Churchmans Marsh Road, Newark, is closed at this time. The right shoulder is currently open allowing traffic to get by.

The nature of injuries to the individuals involved are non-life threatening.

Motorists will experience delays in the area and are advised to seek alternate routes of travel.
