The van was also forced off the northeast corner of the intersection where it came to rest with its right side partially resting on top of the Jetta, facing in a northerly direction.

The operator of the Jetta, 67-year-old female of Seaford, Delaware was not properly restrained and was transported by EMS ambulance to the Nanticoke Memorial Hospital in Seaford where she was pronounced dead. Her name is being withheld pending the notification of next of kin.
