Troopers Attempting to Locate Assault Suspect – Claymont

Claymont – The Delaware State Police are attempting to locate 23 year old William Cosella of Aston, Pennsylvania, in connection with a felony assault that occurred over the weekend.

The investigation has determined that during the weekend of Saturday, February 1 and Sunday, February 2, 2020, Cosella was occupying a room at the Knights Inn, located at 7811 Governor Printz Blvd., with his girlfriend, a 24 year old female. During their stay, the two subjects engaged in a verbal altercation which escalated, resulting in Cosella physically assaulting the female victim.

The victim was subsequently treated at an area hospital for serious injuries.

Cosella is described as a white male, 5’10” tall, 175 lbs., with brown hair and hazel eyes. (NO PHOTO AVAILABLE). Cosella has ties to Aston, PA and is known to frequent the Chester, PA and Claymont areas.
