Smyrna – The Delaware State Police are on scene of a serious motor vehicle crash involving a tractor trailer that occurred at approximately 3:48 p.m., Wednesday, January 1, 2020 on southbound U.S. 13 (DuPont Pkwy.) in the area of Duck Creek Rd.

As a result of the crash all lanes of north and southbound U.S. 13 are closed. The closure is expected to be lengthy and motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek alternate routes of travel.
