Newark, Delaware – The Delaware State Police are seeking the public’s help in locating 25-year-old Afrika Whaley of Dover after she escaped from a constable in Newark.
The incident occurred at approximately 2:03 p.m. today, December 7, 2019, as Afrika Whaley fled after being transported by a Bay Health Security Constable to the Rockford Center located at 100 Rockford Drive Newark, Delaware.
Afrika Whaley is described as a dangerous black female with short hair wearing blue scrubs and red shoes. She is currently wanted by the Dover Police Department for Assault (felony), Conspiracy and Resisting Arrest.

If anyone has any information on the whereabouts of Afrika Whaley they are asked to call 9-1-1 immediately and/or Troop 6 at 302-633-5000. Information may also be provided by calling Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333, via the internet at www.delaware.crimestoppersweb.com.
