Delaware State Police Troop 3 to Host Trooper Youth Program Information Night

Dover–Delaware State Police Troop 3 will be hosting an information night for high school students interested in participating in the Delaware State Police Trooper Youth Program.

The Delaware State Police Trooper Youth Program is comprised of young men and women who have an interest in Law Enforcement and participating in various community events.

Participants must be between 14-18 years old and at least in 9th grade.  While in the program, the Trooper Youth are taught a variety of police procedures including fingerprinting, evidence collection, and patrol procedures. The program strives to lead participants down the right path and stand as positive role models by instilling leadership, responsibility, integrity, and commitment. The program is run and overseen by Delaware State Police Troopers.

Minimum qualifications for participants are mature, clean-cut, clean shaven, 2.0 and above GPA, and no criminal convictions. This is not a discipline program.
