The Delaware State Police are currently conducting an investigation at a residence in the 4000 block of Newport Gap Pike, in regards to an incident that was reported at approximately 9:05 a.m., Monday, October 21, 2019. The incident was contained to this specific location and at this time the area is secure and there is no threat to public safety.
As a result of the ongoing investigation, Newport Gap Pike between Graves Rd. and McKennas Church Rd. is closed. There will continue to be an increased police presence as the investigation continues.
