Troopers Investigating Shots Fired Incident-Dover

Dover- The Delaware State Police are investigating the report of shots being fired last evening.

The incident occurred on October 3, 2019 at approximately 8:15 p.m., when Troopers were dispatched to the area of Saxton Road and Steele Road in reference to a shots fired complaint.  Upon arrival, Troopers met with several citizens who reported hearing multiple shots being fired.  Further investigation revealed that the shots appeared to have come from a passenger vehicle that was in the area at the time and had fled.  A bullet casing was located in the street and there were no reports of any injuries as a result of this incident.

There is no suspect information at this time.
