Troopers Investigating Shooting Incidents-Kent County

Dover/Hartly- The Delaware State Police are currently investigating two shooting incidents that occurred last evening.

The first incident occurred on September 16, 2019 at approximately 8:57 p.m., when Troopers were dispatched to the 3100 block of Forrest Avenue, for a report of a shooting.  Upon arrival, Troopers learned that three individuals were in the garage area of the residence when they heard multiple shots being fired.  One of the individuals, a 27-year-old female had been struck by a bullet.  She was transported to a local area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

It was also reported during this same timeframe that shots were heard being fired in the area of the 1900 block of Taraila Road, Hartly.  There were no injuries reported as a result of this incident.

There is no suspect information at this time.
