Wilmington – Southbound Concord Pike (Rt. 202) remains closed between Silverside Rd. and Naaman’s Rd. due to repairs to utility poles. At approximately 8:41 p.m., Tuesday, August 6, a tractor trailer struck a struck a utility pole on Concord Pike in the area of Garden of Eden Rd. which downed additional poles.

Utility crews have been working throughout the night however repair work is estimated to continue throughout the morning and possibly into the afternoon. Southbound Concord Pike between Naaman’s Rd. and Silverside Rd. will remain closed during this time.
