Felton – The Delaware State Police are investigating the robbery of a Felton area bank that occurred Friday afternoon.
The incident occurred at approximately 4:48 p.m., Friday August 2, 2019 at the WSFS Bank, located at 105 Irish Hill Rd., Felton. The suspect approached a teller and produced a note demanding cash while gesturing to his waistband, implying that he had a weapon. The teller complied with the demand and turned over an undisclosed amount of cash to the suspect who then fled on foot southbound on Canterbury Rd. The teller was not injured as a result of the incident.
The suspect was described as black male, wearing a red shirt and black pants. No weapon was displayed, only implied.
