State Police Conducting Death Investigation – Wilmington

Wilmington, Delaware – The Delaware State Police are currently conducting a death investigation that began on Tuesday morning at approximately 8:58 a.m., on July 23, 2019, after a body was recovered from the Brandywine River in the area of the Church Street Bridge in the City of Wilmington, Delaware.  The victim has been identified as Susan M. Ledyard, 50 of Wilmington, Delaware.

This is an active and ongoing investigation and is in its early stages with further information being released as it becomes available.
