Troopers Attempting to Locate Burglary Suspect – Georgetown

Georgetown – The Delaware State Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 28 year old Joshua C. Shockley of Georgetown, who is wanted in connection with a residential burglary that occurred on Friday.

The investigation determined that on Friday, May 10, 2019, between the hours of 3:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m., Shockley made forcible entry into a residence as well as a shed, located in the 20000 block of Kings Hwy., Georgetown and fled with property.

In addition to the burglary warrants Shockley also has active warrants on file related to a theft from this same location in which he subsequently pawned the stolen property, claiming to be the rightful owner.

Active warrants are currently on file at Troop 4 charging Shockley with the following:

  • Burglary 2nd Degree
  • Burglary 3rd Degree
  • Theft under $1500.00 (2 counts)
  • Criminal Mischief
  • Theft by False Pretense (10 counts)
  • Falsifying Business Records (11 counts)
  • Selling Stolen Property (10 counts)
