*UPDATE-Victim Identified* Troopers Investigating Serious Crash Involving a Pedestrian – Wilmington

Wilmington – The Delaware State Police have identified Marcie L. Griggs, 52, of Wilmington as the pedestrian who was struck by a 2015 Honda Civic, as she attempted to cross the roadway, in a collision that occurred at approximately 9:51 p.m., Sunday, April 14, 2019 on Kirkwood Hwy., in the area of Duncan Rd.

Griggs was  transported to the Christiana Hospital where she remained in critical condition for two days. On Tuesday, April 16, 2019, she succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased.
