Townsend – The Delaware State are currently on scene of a serious motor vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 8:45 a.m., Tuesday, April 16, on U.S. 13 (DuPont Parkway) at Pine Tree Rd. in Townsend.

As a result of the crash all lanes of U.S. 13, both northbound and southbound are closed. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and to seek alternate routes of travel. For updated traffic conditions and road closure information log on to:
