Troopers Investigating Shots Fired Incident- Bridgeville

Bridgeville- The Delaware State Police are investigating a shots fired incident that occurred last evening.

The incident occurred on March 10, 2019, at approximately 10:35 p.m., when Troopers were dispatched to the 11000 block of 5th Street, Bridgeville for a shots fired report.  Upon arrival, Troopers made contact with the residents who advised they were in their bedroom when they heard two gunshots.  Further investigation revealed two bullet holes had struck a rear door to the residence.

The 42-year-old male resident and his 43-year-old wife were not injured as a result of this incident.

There is no suspect information at this time.
